Subject: –Bid closing/Opening date extension and amendment on bid document

Dear Sir/ Madam

Thank you for your interest in participating on the above mentioned tender. The tender is open for all local bidders interested to participate whereas the evaluation criteria are amended as follows:-

• For local bidders other than local manufacturers;-

The Preliminary evaluation;

• Bidders shall submit written confirmation of authorization to commit a bid from the manufacturer to the bidder.

Technical evaluation criteria;

• Valid/Renewed EFDA Registration certificate/market authorization certificate
• For local manufacturers

Financial Evaluation;

• Margin of preference is 25% if the bidder submits an audit report from legal auditors that indicate the bidder is adding a value of 35% or more in the country.

The bid closing and Opening date is extended to November 30/2023 G.C. Other terms, conditions, evaluation criteria’s and requirements of the bid will remain the same.

NB: The price validity and bid bond validity need to be considered from extended bid closing/opening date.
