We highly appreciate your interest to participate on the tender captioned above and reference is made to your kind request.

  • We hereby amend the evaluation requirement indicated on Section III. Evaluation and Qualification Criteria, Under letter (K) Local Agent Representation:“Each local agent shall only be authorized by one bidder for the same quoted product in a bid, otherwise the bidders will be rejected. An agent can be authorized by two or more bidders for different quoted products in a bid”.

MVA Syringe:The syringe is made from a safe and durable material, such as polypropylene polymer
Valve Type: The MVA kit may include a single valve or double valve syringe
Suction Power: The syringe provides high vacuum suction during the procedure

*  2 bottles of silicone for lubricating the syringe

*  20 sets of flexible cannulas (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 mm) sterile, single use.The cannula is made from non-toxic plastic.
Design: It has a smooth catheter surface with a rounded tip for easy insertion and minimal trauma.
Eye/Eyes: The cannula may have smooth-edged eye/eyes near the tip for trauma-free insertion

*  5 double-ended Hegar’s uterine dilators (3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9- 10, 11-12 mm)

*  1 Pozzi forceps, tenaculum

All the equipment is autoclavable, except the cannula, which are strictly single use.

Reference is made to the above tender which clarification is requested on the bid document one bidder requested clarification on the technical specification of items number 1, 2, 3,4,5,6 & 7 of which the bid document is under sale to interested bidders.

This is to notify all interested bidders that the technical Clause (Bidder shall be submitted valid WHO prequalification with the manufacturing site) is clarified as the quoted products and the manufacturers with the manufacturing site shall be WHO prequalified.
