1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Ethiopia COVID-19 Emergency Response Project Additional Financing, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement PCR, Furnace and

3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement

Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ethiopian pharmaceutical supply service (EPSS), Mr. Tibebu Hailu and tibebu.hailu@epss.gov.et and inspect the bidding document during office hours 8:30AM to 12:30PM and from 1:30PM to 5:30PM from Monday to Thursday and from 8:30AM to11:30AM and from 1:30PM to 5:30PM Friday at the address given below.

5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Three Hundred Ethiopian Birr or equivalent in a convertible currency. Please note that we accept payment in the form of cash or deposit to the bank account provided below. Once the payment has been made, kindly send the pre-paid receipt to the email address indicated below.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before July 05, 2024 at 2:00PM. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The Technical and Financial bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below July 05, 2024 at 2:30PM.
