Agency to hold consultative forum in Gondar
The Agency will host a consultative forum with stakeholders in Gondar city from August 14-16, 2019, disclosed EPSA Deputy Director General, Kalkidan Lakew in an interview with EPSA communication team on June 19.
The Agency is expected to deliberate on raising pharmaceuticals supply with representatives of donors, pharmaceuticals suppliers, clients and control authorities, remarked the deputy director general.
She noted that center of excellence, quality management system and the implementation of Kaisen are among the issues up for discussion.
Dr. Kalkidan also pointed out that the Agency’s performance in the 2018/19 budget year will be evaluated and the plan for 2019/20 will be revised.
The deputy director general underscored the consultative forum’s importance as a chance to strengthen unity among the Agency and stakeholders in addition to its role in mitigating the problem of exchanging blames among institutions.
Dr. Kalkidan further stated that the forum would help strengthen the Agency’s relation with health stations and other stakeholders.
