The agency distributes drugs used to treat tuberculosis and leprosy

The Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Agency has distributed over 428 million birr worth of medicines and inputs to treat tuberculosis and leprosy, according to Meron Yakub, a representative of TB and malaria.
The agency distributed TB kit, RHZ and RH drugs at a cost of 428 million 826 thousand 613 birr, she said.
The inputs were distributed in all regions through the Agency’s branches in the 2012 Ethiopian budget year and will provide treatment to 150,400 people.
