Anti-malaria bed nets to be distributed to Southern Nations and Tigray regional states
Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals Supply Agency is set to distribute 2.8 million anti-malaria bed nets in Southern Nations and Tigray regional states, announced Pharmaceuticals and Medical Equipment Distribution and Vehicle Dispatch Management Director, Shiferaw Bekele on May 20, 2020.
Shiferaw pointed out that the distribution would cover 72 woredas in the two regional states. The beneficiary zones include: Sidama, Kenbatta Tenbaro, Gurage, Hadiya, kaffa, Dawro, Sheka, Konta special zone, central, North Western, East, South, West and South Western…
The director indicated that the Agency is replacing the bed nets it distributed three years ago as that is the threshold of service for the medical supply.
He further stated that the bed nets are worth 179 million birr.
