Agency honors model performers
Twenty-four model performers and one special winner were awarded during the 2017/18 six months performance evaluation session of the Pharmaceuticals Fund and Supply Agency (PFSA).
The model performers were drawn from the main office and branch offices while the main criteria included excellence in executing one’s duties, outlook and ethics.
Other criteria include preparation of plan and report, efforts to build one’s own capacity and that of colleagues, and the level of implementing institutional instruments of change.
One’s demeanor as a service provider, executing one’s duty with absolute loyalty and hard work, self restraint from corruption, active participation in the fight against rent seeking and responsible use of public resources have also been included in the criteria.
The award ceremony featured Mitiku Mamo, truck driver, as a special award winner. Mitiku said he is happy he won the award and feels motivated to execute his duties more efficiently. He further expressed his hope that it would reinvigorate the morale of other workers.
The special award winner with thirty-five years of service at the Agency was rewarded with twenty thousand birr, a trophy and certificate while the twenty-four model performers received certificates.
