Agency completes distribution of maternal and child health medical equipment’s

Medical Equipments Distribution Officer, Jea Uga, announced that the Agency completed the distribution of Patient Monitor, Fetal Monitor and Fetal Doppler to health facilities located in all regional states. 

Jea explained that the medical equipments are used to follow up pregnancy and keep both pregnant mother and fetus healthy. 

The expert indicated that the medical equipments are useful in monitoring the heartbeat and breathing system of the fetus.

He stated that the 24.5 million birr worth of distributed machines include 3,600 fetal dopplers, 180 fetal monitors and 100 patient monitors.
