Agency distributes Human Papilloma Virus Vaccine

Vaccines program Pharmaceuticals monitoring expert, Nadia Sirag, announced that vaccines worth more than 179,396 birr have been distributed by the Agency for the Cervical Cancer Vaccination Campaign on October 21, 2019.

The expert stated that the vaccines have been distributed to one thousand woredas in all regional states of the country. She further indicated that more than 1 million 350 thousand vaccines have been distributed.

Nadia noted that the vaccines will be administered to upwards of 1 million 286 thousand women of more than 14 years of age.

She also underscored that the vaccines have been kept at the right temperature (from 2 to 8 degree Centigrade) during distribution.
