EPSA’s ethics directorate was established based on the council of ministers decree under directive 144/2000. The directorate has the following mission, duties and objectives carved out of the establishment directive of ethics sections, the agency’s vision, mission and values.
Mission
Realizing good governance in the Agency by educating staff and leadership of their roles in promoting ethics and curbing corruption towards creating a work force that does not shoulder unethical conduct, abhors corruption, whistle blows and fights such acts.
Duties
Educating staff and consulting leadership to combat corruption and malpractices; having corrective measures taken whenever transgressions happen and following up practices.
Objective
Striving towards the creation of an active work force that does not bear corruption and working towards whistle blowing and investigation of corruption and malpractices based on preventive approaches that include: anti-corruption education, professional ethics, strong sense of public service and responsibility.
