The finance administration wing of EPSA is structured to deputize the director general and coordinate five directorates of the agency: Fund Management Directorate, Health Programs/Projects directorate, General services directorate, Good governance and legal service directorates.
The office’s vision, cascaded from that of the agency, aspires to see cost-effective, efficient, transparent and facilitated resources acquisition, utilization and management throughout the agency.
The Mission is, therefore, to ensure that all the required financial and non-financial resources are acquired cost-effectively, managed wisely, utilized effectively, maintained safely and securely.
The objectives of this major wing of the agency, according to its established mission are:
- Establish and maintain world-class, transparent and reliable financial management systems;
- Deliver quality logistical and financial services so as to ensure smooth and efficient operation in all the agency;
- Develop, evaluate, and maintain financial reporting systems in compliance with relevant, statutory, partners’ and accounting standards and requirements;
- Explore and develop strategic direction and policy options in relation to resources mobilization, administration and treasury management to ensure that EPSA is financially stable by maintaining fair working capital sustainably;
- Ensure that good governance prevails in all the activities, interactions and areas of influence of the agency including partners, customers, employees, in particular and the public in general;
- Ensure that all the assets, rights and obligations of the agency are enjoyed and protected and delivered properly as per the ethical standard and laws of the land.
