Mr. Aknaw Kawza MalefiaA results-driven healthcare executive with over two decades of leadership experience from community-level service to national level management. Currently serving as Deputy Director General of the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Supply Service (2022–Present), he drives the strategic direction of the national pharmaceutical supply chain mainly pharmaceutical procurement.His career includes 8 years leading the SNNPR Regional Health Bureau as its Head and Deputy, preceded by a 3-year tenure as CEO of Jinka General Hospital. His foundation was built through extensive hands-on professional and leadership contributions at the Woreda and Zone levels (2003–2010).He holds a postgraduate qualification in hospital and healthcare administration from Jimma University, undergraduate certifications in Veterinary Medicine and Economics from Addis Ababa and Armbmich Universities respectively, and a Global Health Leadership certificate from Yale University of USA.
