Deputy Director General Aknaw Kawza
DDG, Operations & Supply Chain
Mr. Aknaw Kawza MalefiaA results-driven healthcare executive with over two decades of leadership experience from community-level service to national level management. Currently serving as Deputy Director General of the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Supply Service (2022–Present), he drives the strategic direction of the national pharmaceutical supply chain mainly pharmaceutical procurement.His career includes 8 years leading the SNNPR Regional Health Bureau as its Head and Deputy, preceded by a 3-year tenure as CEO of Jinka General Hospital. His foundation was built through extensive hands-on professional and leadership contributions at the Woreda and Zone levels (2003–2010).He holds a postgraduate qualification in hospital and healthcare administration from Jimma University, undergraduate certifications in Veterinary Medicine and Economics from Addis Ababa and Armbmich Universities respectively, and a Global Health Leadership certificate from Yale University of USA.

Deputy Director General Solomon Nigussie

Leads the strategic planning and execution of the company’s nationwide outbound logistics network including demand management, warehouse operations, and distribution across 19 regional hubs and the head office. Oversees facilities management, fleet logistics, and process optimization to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery.

Deputy Director General Tariku Belachew

Mr.Tariku Belachew Beyene, 20 years of experience in the health system as clinician and health care leadership. First Degree in public health (Health Officer) from university of Gondar And his Second degree is Master in health care adminstration from Jimma University .Currently DDG of Ethiopian pharmaceutical supply service since 2022. Was Deputy Head of Amhara Regional Health Bureau for 5 years (2017-2022).CEO of Debere Markos Referral hospital for 6 years (2011-2017). Has been delivered his professional contributions from (2003-2006) at Health Center,woreda and Zonal health structures
